rgst - Issues accessing most services – Incident details

At 2026/09/24 15:01 PT our ISP, Quantum Fiber, had an outage. This caused most of our services, with the exception of the Bluesky PDS which is hosted on Google Cloud Platform, to be inaccessible.

Our ISP outage lasted until 23:00 PT according to our telemetry, however Quantum Fiber themselves says close to 01:00 PT the following morning.

To alleviate this type of failure in the future, we have acquired a backup ISP (Comcast Business) and will be setting that up as a failover in the coming days.

Our ISP outage was resolved!

Our ISP has informed us this may not be resolved until 2026/09/25 at 11:40 AM (Pacific Time). This is not the news we were hoping to hear, but it may be awhile. We'll keep this status page updated as we learn more.

Our internet service provider is having an outage. Unfortunately, we do not have a backup provider so services will be down until this is resolved.
